Social Media Tips

September 26, 2015 | Marketing

This is a great book that we refer to often to help improve, elevate and expand our social media acumen. Thought we would share a couple of our favourite tips with you…

1. Be valuable: create good stuff for your audience. That includes being valuable to them; things like being informational and being of assistance to them. You can also provide some analysis to them. Why what you’re sharing should matter to them and what your interpretation of the information is. Last, entertain them if you can. Everyone likes to laugh and be intrigued so don’t underestimate the power of entertainment.

2. Be interesting: Think about real, genuine stories of what might be interesting to your target audience. They are people too and have the same life challenges, loves and victories as you. Share those and be real and thought provoking.
