We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for the client’s of Switchback Creative. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through their social media accounts.

What does a social media coordinator do?

As a Social media coordinator, you will work with our team, the creative briefs, editorial calendars and existing marketing plans to develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote their brands. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. Each one being unique to the company brand and perspective.


  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Work with our design team to create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure engagement and results, web traffic and monitor SEO, where needed
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries or direct to the right person
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout, ensure brand guidelines are updated
  • Work with design/marketing team to suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions etc.


  • Proven work experience as a Social media coordinator, minimum 2 years
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content writing
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • Ability in copywriting and content writing skills and research
