HIRING Project Manager, Digital Agency
Contract work, 3 month term (negotiable), 20-25 hours a week.
Calgary | Airdrie. Switchback Creative is looking for a talented, fun, and crazy smart Project Manager, with a love for Social Media strategy and implementation. By demonstrating thought leadership and delivering exceptional customer service the successful candidate will help build strong client relationships that instil Switchback as a trusted strategic partner in their digital brand story. You will bring fresh eyes and new ideas that help ensure our clients’ business – and our business – continue to grow.
You’ll champion projects through our leadership team, working with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary creative teams to deliver high-quality work on time and in scope of work promised. Project manager would be familiar with project objectives, schedules and budgets being a driver and instigator kicks-offs and next steps.
Participate in regular client meetings to ensure projects are clearly defined and actively managed. Use designated project management tools to build and track projects, tasks, budgets and timelines. Maintain status reports, key analytics and ensure regular communication with our clients. Translate client needs into clear, concise briefing documents for the team. Work closely with our Creative Director to schedule and prioritize workloads. Ensure our quality standards are maintained from kick-off through to execution. Strong understanding of online advertising, social media strategies and processes is needed. Other duties – as required, (we are a small but mighty team that wears many hats).
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Strong related experience in agency setting or in-house creative department preferred. 5-7 years of related experience background in business, marketing, communications or related field. Ability to write content and research. Strong project, people and time management skills. Ability to embrace change and uncertainty; jumping in and problem solving where needed.
Proficiency in Project management tools like Basecamp, MSOffice, Hootsuite, Facebook Ads manager. Adobe Creative Suite and other design software would also be valuable.

We are a small branding, web and marketing agency that is based out of Airdrie, Alberta. We have a large number of projects on the go at any given time, on a variety of topics. We have been around for more than 5 years, have been nominated for a number of awards and have grown our team of designers and contractors since starting. We work remotely, but always as a team, building face-to-face meetings into our workflow each week. We work with any industry but specialize in adventure and curiosity, helping businesses tell stories taking brands to the next chapter for their growth. We have clients all over Alberta.
