SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER/STRATEGIST | Contractor

Switchback Creative works with clients and guides them through branding, marketing and website development for all of their marketing initiatives. We also execute on their social media management, social media strategy development and digital audits where appropriate to varying degrees and detail. We are growing and looking for a few new additions to our team. We are looking to add to our Key Collaborators in the role of smart and savvy social media manager and strategists.

Social Media management/strategist projects could include:

  • Digital audits for clients with recommendations for content, strategy and analytics
  • Create content strategies and editorial calendars for clients, system to do so
  • Staying on top of the latest social trends tools and updates
  • Work with design team to create engaging text, image and video content
  • Designing posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and creating buzz around key messaging
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout, ensure brand guidelines are updated
  • Work with design/marketing team to suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Currently run own corporation or solopreneur business in field
  • Business in operation for more than 2 years
  • Ability to conduct digital audits for clients
  • Ability to create content strategies and editorial calendars for clients, system to do so
  • Ability to set and measure appropriate metrics for social accounts
  • Great writing skills for posting and managing ongoing social accounts
  • Expert in major social media platforms and associated tools
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Totally independent and driven but work well with teams
  • Excellent communication, multitasking and analytical skills
  • Ability in copywriting and content writing skills and research
