Woodside Golf Course has a great mission that allows them to stand out from the crowd by defining their brand position of Instigating the Creation of Insanely Outrageous Stories. They know that people can have a traditional golf experience anywhere but they want to help foster really memorable events, days and activities that stand out. They have put into place a each point possible ways to achieve that mission. Working with a company that has a great mission like this so clearly defined is a lot of fun.
The logo refresh helped set the tone that kept with the longevity of the course but with a modern take and flare. The bold coloured pattern element is the unexpected story side of their brand. It shows different facets of our personalities. The website was designed to hold a lot of great information, functionality for members and potential guests. Flows easily from type of section to the next depending on what you are looking for. We added a phase 2 E-Commerce section to the site as the company offering have grown. We integrated with a bunch of their 3 party systems that controlled payments, memberships, booking etc. A detailed events calendar was also created so that each week in the season people can experience, plan for and see Outrageous Stories are being created.
